Heat Illness Prevention

Each year, thousands of employees experience heat-related illnesses. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2015, 2,830 workers experienced heat illnesses resulting in 37 worker fatalities.  Thirty-one percent of all heat-related fatalities were in construction.
